By downloading, installing, accessing the website, or using Fire Path ("the Service" or "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Fire Path is a financial planning application designed to help users calculate and track their progress toward Financial Independence, Retire Early (FIRE) goals. The App provides:

• FIRE calculations and projections
• Multiple FIRE mode calculations (Passive Income, Regular, Lean, Fat, etc.)
• Asset and expense tracking
• Cloud synchronization (optional)
• Premium features via subscription

3. Important Disclaimer

⚠️ NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE: Fire Path provides educational tools and calculations only. The App does NOT provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All calculations are estimates based on user inputs and assumptions.

You should consult with qualified financial professionals before making any financial decisions. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information from this App.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining your account security
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• One person may maintain only one account

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free and Premium Features

The App offers both free and premium (Fire Path Pro) features. Premium features require an active subscription.

5.2 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
• Payment will be charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's app store settings

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
• Share your subscription with others
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Interfere with the App's operation

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Fire Path and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fire Path shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fire Path from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Taiwan, R.O.C., without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
